  Me and my family drove in from Greenville Mississippi for a funeral a few weeks ago and we got there maybe around 11pm or so. Upon our arrival my brother asked a young lady Grace could he use the bathroom because he had been on the wrong such a long time. She immediately said no he has to wait until he gets in his room to use the bathroom. Now mind you we had booked 3 different rooms so we would have to wait until she is done with all 3 rooms. My brother asked her, if he is a paying customer why is it that he couldn't use the bathroom, her response was we don't have a public bathroom at all. From there she simply kept going back and forth with my brother. At this time a young man by the name of Peter had just walked in the door. Grace's customer service has simply left the building at that point. You could see that she no longer interested in servicing us. When the young gentleman got around to the counter he proceeded to actually start checking us in. Here comes Grace again going back and forth with my brother. At this time Peter defused the situation by asking my brother how he could be of service to him. My brother told him that he was a 77 yr old man who had just drove in from Mississippi and he wasn't gonna be able to hold it until he got in a room. Peter simply said sir, i will let you use our bathroom. He also let him know that generally we don't allow anyone to use that bathroom as it was an employee only bathroom. The refresher was when he said. Sir, for you i will allow it. When my brother came back he let Peter know that he was very unhappy that he had been denied entry to a bathroom. Here comes Grace again, at this point her voice has grown more irritable and angry towards us. Yet again, Peter steps in, because that is who my brother was taking up the issue with. Peter steps in and told Grace that he would be the one checking us in. From the moment he took over, not only us but the several guest that were patiently waiting behind us noticed how different this young man was. His sense of humor was on full display. He told us that he was residing in the same area as the hotel so he was able to guide us through to a few good spots. The room he had put us in didn't have double beds, so when we came back down, to our surprise there were no more customers waiting in line. He told me he'd personally put us in double bedded rooms. He then came upstair and moved me and my moms belongings from one room to the next. We really appreciated the hospitality from this young man. Grace not so much. Your job should be to service the customers and she didn't do that. Peter we really appreciate your hospitality and professionalism.
